Contrary to its name, there is no lake in the area. Lake Claire’s name is derived from a gardening club that created the name by combining Lakeshore Drive and Claire Drive. Located minutes from the Candler Park MARTA Station this accessible neighborhood is a short distance from popular shopping destinations such as Little Five Points, Edgewood, Downtown Decatur and Candler Park.
