One South Prado was constructed in 1920 by one of Atlanta’s leading architects, Neil Reed. This three-story brick building is comprised of twenty unique one and two-bedroom floorplans. The building is on the National Historic Register and has been carefully maintained as such. Each unit has its own look and feel; some have wonderful tree top views of adjoining Ansley Park and Piedmont Park. Most units have undergone some (if not multiple) renovation(s). The Atlanta Botanical Garden is directly across the street. One South Prado is a controlled access building with assigned parking for residents only. There is usually readily available street parking for guests except when there are events at The Botanical Garden or Piedmont Park.
